Funeral Expenses For Dad

I really don’t know what or how to say this, because it still hasn’t sunk in. My dad passed away today (11/29). He wasn’t in good health, but it was still unexpected. Unfortunately, he didn’t have any life insurance, savings, or assets that can be used to cover his funeral expenses. I hate to ask for help with this, but we aren’t sure what else to do. We need help to lay our dad to rest. His wishes were to be cremated and buried at a plot he had near his parents’ in Boss, MO. We don’t have the exact figures, yet. But - it is expected to cost around $5,000. We’re putting everything we can spare towards it, but our family just doesn’t have that in savings, so I’m asking for help. Anything we receive would be appreciated beyond measure. Once we have a final figure, I’ll update the goal. If we do raise more than ends up being needed - the excess funds will be donated in Dad’s name to the American Diabetes Association. Thank you,The Children and Family of Don Reeves
