A Helping Hand

I was recently diagnosed with Stage lV breast cancer with bone metastatic. I've been through many appointments and undergone many tests to determine what the next steps will be. I'm missing many days of work to attend ultrasounds, CT scans, biopsy, etc., to get me ready for a mastectomy, and chemotherapy after. Yesterday, CT scan results concerned my doctor that cancer might have spread to the bones. He immediately ordered a bone marrow biopsy to determine if the cancer has spread. This was a painful procedure that left me feeling drained and weak. I am worried about these results. It's getting harder and harder to focus, sleep is becoming nearly impossible because my heart is breaking, thinking about what is happening. I'm a single mother, recently divorced and trying my best to keep it together for my family. I have three children that I love dearly and are my heart. I'm praying to God for a tiny miracle during this time of need. My oldest son Christopher, lives outside of El Paso and is heartbroken that he cannot support his mom during this crisis I'm going through. Since my diagnosis, even with the help of insurance, my medical bills and other costs have been accumulating. I am in financial turmoil, especially with a major surgical procedure ahead. I anticipate many more expenses to come. I am reaching out today for your prayers, and for any assistance you can provide.
