Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

My brothers and I wanted to started a fund to support Mr. Browne and his family as they recover from Hurricane Harvey.  I currently live in Houston and for those of you that don't know, I am his co-worker at the Village School. It has been so wierd to call him Zak, but he is literally the exact same as I remember him in middle school. He is loud and sarcastic and loves music and his family. He teaches 7th grade English and I can hear his voice all the way down the hallway. He is still married to our beloved Ms. Baginksie - I guess I should call her Mrs. Browne now.

They had to evacuate their home on Monday as water was beginning to get in their house. They had to wait 8 hours for rescue, and are now safe at a friend's house. They cannot get back into their house because Cinco Ranch is still underwater from the controlled release of reservoirs and the extreme flooding throughout Houston. No one is allowed in their neighborhood as water is continuing to rise.

The Browne's have 4 kids - a 4th grade named Nate and boy triplets in 2nd grade. His boys have taken this hurricane the hardest and in texting with him, he is truly only worried about his boys. He ends each of his texts to me with #tigers. He truly asks about so many of you all - he cannot believe Elizabeth Delozier is married, as she did not now what a can opener is in 8th grade. He is not suprised to hear that AC lives in LA and is busy writing sketches. He loved to know that Stevie Samps is quite a ladies man now.  In all seriousness though, he cares about each of you.

With that said, this fund will go towards new clothing, food, clean up in their house, and so much more. Any amount helps. I know there are so many places that you can give your money to help with Hurricane Harvey, but this cause hits close to home for us.
