Send Evalucien Dance Ladies to WLDC 2013

Hello Friends!
First and foremost, I hope that this letter finds you all well and hard at work pursuing your interests and passions. I am writing to share with you all the project that I have been working on, and to ask for your support. As many of you know, over the last several years I have devoted nearly all of my extra time and energy to developing and growing as a dancer. I have found as many learning opportunities as possible, traveling to learn and also being a part of a competitive team, and this year I have finally taken a huge step forward into creating my own choreographies and directing a group of ladies under the name Evalucien (pronounced evolution) Dance. I have had the pleasure of working with a group of dedicated and talented young women, who, like me, treat this dancing world as a second job and are willing to rehearse nights and weekends to create spectacular routines. It is astounding how many hours of work can go into preparing two minutes of performance! We had an exciting and successful debut at the Denver Salsa Congress in early October, and we are now trying our hardest to take the routine that we have been working on to the World Latin Dance Cup in Miami in December. This is, of course, an expensive proposition. Along with the travel expenses "“ flights, hotel, registration fees- we also have to take time off of work, which for many of us makes the trip and the experience unaffordable. We care about this enough, and we are excited enough about it, that we are asking our friends and loved ones for support in accomplishing this goal. We figure that if several people are willing to pitch in just a little bit "“ even $5 or $10 "“ it can all add up to making this dream, and amazing learning opportunity, a reality. If you are willing and able to support our endeavor, please donate!
We know that there are a lot of causes out there, and if you are unable to contribute at this time, we appreciate you just the same!
