My wife and I have known each other our whole lives i met her when i was in grade school playing little league ball with her brothers she was the most beautiful curly haired. Girl id ever met i fell in love with her in junior high and dated her all through high school. When i graduated she was a junior and wanted to marry her but she had greater plans to go to college my impatience got the best of me so i moved on and started a family without thinking like most guys do a few years later when things didnt work out so well i moved back to Guthrie. My hometown to start over. To my surprise. She had moved back home too and welcomed me with open arms she never was mad and never questioned She was there to love and support me and raise my 2 oldest kids as her own. We were married shortly after and had 3 more amazing daughters raising a family and spending every waking moment loving each other was all we ever wanted. We were married 20 years together as soul mates who found each other through impossible odds 5 years ago she got sick and was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and through no fault of her own having surgery to remove the cancer the doctor removed her parathyroids along with her thyroid cancer causing a chain of events that sent her body spiraling out of control. Friday night she lost the battle her body was too weak to carry on Jen Woodard. You were absolutely the strongest bravest woman i have ever known you fought your illness to your dying breath
