Dreaming With Babies
Donation protected
To all of our family and friends we ask you to be a part of our dream of having children. Annmarie and I have endured three failed iui's so far and are hoping to be able to try IVF next. In 2009 I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.
Pcos is a condition in which a woman has an imbalance of female sex hormones. This may lead to menstrual cycle changes, cysts in the ovaries, and trouble getting pregnant. In vitro fertilization is our only hope in fulfilling our dreams of having a family.
We met in 2006 through the social networking site myspace. I know that sounds crazy but it sure does make for a good back story! :-) We instantly connected! Within a year, we moved in and had begun our lives together. In 2010 we married. It was a lovely and intimate ceremony in connecticut. With all the wonderful blessings we'd received as a couple. We figured we try our luck at having children and starting a family, and thats where the heart ache began. Due to Maxine's condition it has been a long and tumultuous journey, failing consecutive iui's. We've exhausted our savings on the procedures, and are currently saving for in vitro fertilization. Hopefully with the help of our friends, family, and anyone else gracious enough to help with our cause, we can reach our goal.
Most of our friends and family know we have a knack for finding a joke out of any situation. With that said, for any donation over $25 we will make you a "I helped a couple make a baby, and all I got was this lousy tee shirt" t-shirt ! Thank you for taking the time to read our story and god bless you all. The Albarran family to be :)
