A friend, a mother, an important person within our community - Yulia Kononova.
Yulia has always been a part of the community raising money for non profit organisations, helping and organising community events bringing all individuals from all walks of like together, but more importantly being there for us when we needed someone the most.
With a big and caring heart, kind and gentle soul, Yulia gave so much to us and we would now like to do the same.
Yulia was diagnosed with leukaemia on the 15th August 2017 after realising that she wasn't feeling herself and through multiple blood tests it had been confirmed. Soon after the process began with the cycle of blood transfusions, chemotherapy, fevers and along with it an emotional and physical roller coaster.
One couldn't understand the feelings, the daily struggles and the constant changes in one self until you have been in their shoes. I cannot begin to imagine what it would be like. With continuos trips back and forth to the hospital with the support of her family, it would not be easy. However, Yulia has kept her high spirits, smile, positivity and strength and is a true woman that we are all very proud of.
We would like to raise money for Yulia's ongoing medical treatments and every day expenses to allow her to focus on getting better, stronger and healthier and not to be focused on financial matters.
So let's all get together, show our support and all contribute what we can to this incredible woman.
This is not about how big or small your contribution is, but is about our way to say thank you to you, Yulia. Thank you for brightening up our days with you high spirits, laughter and smile, but most importantly, thank you for all the support you've provided us. We love you dearly and are praying for you!
