Lyme Has Ticked Me Off Long Enough!!

Over 4 1/2 years ago I got a bite on my leg. It looked angry, so I went to the doctor and got some doxycycline... 2 weeks worth. 5 days after the antibiotics ended I landed in the ER as my body shut down. I couldn't move. I could only mumble, but I could hear everything around me. Over the past 4 1/2 years, these became known as episodes. I went to many doctors and after a year of getting nowhere, went to the Cleveland Clinic...twice. The second time we requested a Lyme test and the rest, I wish, was history. I have been on antibiotics for over 3 years. Last year I had a port placed to use IV antibiotics. Needless to say, I'm tired of trying to kill this beast. Recently my mom found an article about a 3 week hospital stay in Germany that uses hyperthermia to eradicate Lyme. They do intense detox therapy and then raise your body temp to 107°. They do this twice. This therapy is not offered in the States and they have a very high success rate. Needless to say, I'm going. I leave November 28th. With the cost of flights, hospital stay, therapy, and accommodations for my parents (who will be accompanying me), the cost will be a minimum of $30,000.
