Our son Colton was diagnosed recently with Autism. He is 2 years old. Our insurance DOES NOT cover anything related to autism or it's treatment. We sought out help from the state and were denied for every single thing. We never thought that trying to create a "modest life" for our son and making sure he had medical insurance would turn out to harm us. It's time for insurance reform in Washington state, not only for our son's benefit but for the 1 in 88 children autism touches.
The reason for this fund is to help pay for his neurological visits, ABA therapy and other related appointments. We have linked this page to his benevolent account at BECU. This is a way for those who do not live near one or would rather prefer to use the internet to donate. We thank you for all of your support. If you cannot donate we totally understand there are other ways of support such as prayers, positive thoughts, and just being in Coltons corner. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and if you are donating thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. Please feel free to share this page if you like. Also be sure and follow my blog at http://coltonsmama2011.blogspot.com/ for big and small updates.
