Pastor Rob Palandro Need Ur Support

Donation protected

This has been a debilitating, heartbreaking, earth shattering, unbelievably surreal time for the Palandro, George, Westman, Dyal, Ball family.

My brother in law, Rob, is one of the most beloved men I know.  He is a father, son, husband, friend, pastor and so much more to so many people.   Over the passed 8 years that I have known him he has always been such a positive force in my life and to so many others, I have never heard him speak an ill word about anyone ever, only spreading love to everyone around him.  He is husband to his beautiful wife Stacey and father to his wondeful children Micalah, Gabe, Anna & Addie ♥️

Last Tuesday Rob  suffered an injury to the carotid artery. He was on a service call at one of the colleges. Four to five hours past before he dragged/crawled himself into the hallway. Fast forward- he was medi-vac'd/life flighted from the first ER to Hershey. At that time, from suspected time of the stroke to Hershey Medical, we were approaching/around 10+hours... and he lost the 'window' for them to treat and reverse the effects of the stroke. Not a good situation.

He was taken for a craniotomy/cranioectomy and doing as well as we can expect They removed a large piece of his skull to allow room for the brain to swell, and to prevent further damage. Last night his MRI/ MRA showed the over 1/3 of his brain was being effected... today, 1/2, if not more. The neurosurgeon believes it all stems from an injury to the carotid artery. All his blood labs were great. Nothing pointing to a health issue or genetics. He may not have even known he injured it. An accidental hit on the neck, lifting something, even stretching... some type of injury caused the tear. As his body started to repair it and as the platelets traveled to 'scab' over the tear some travelled to his brain and caused this ischemic stroke deep in his left side of brain. The left half of the brain is responsible for verbal and logical functions including language (listening, reading, speaking, and writing), thought and memory involving words.

Rob has a long road of recovery ahead of him beginning with rehab and occupational therapy.  Rob's love is so pure and relentless for his family and friends that I am sure that he will push himself to recover to the best of his ability.  He has already made such great progress considering the severity of the situation.

This incident could not have been avoided or even anticipated since this was a freak accident, so as Rob is the main financial supporter of his family this will add a huge stress to an already extremely stressful situation.

Any donation will be a blessing for this amazing man and his family.  Thank you so much for your time.
