This page is created to invite friends or family to help us achieve this dream trip for our son! He will spend his 8th grade spring break in Washington D.C. and New York City! Jason has been dreaming of this trip since 1st grade... and it's not his fault a parent just finished expensive grad school. Let's work together to help him reach this amazing milestone... to give him this life-changing educational experience. Every single dollar will go to pay for his trip expenses. Any of you who know Jay knows that he is more than deserving of this opportunity. Our family is forever grateful, and we ALWAYS pay it forward! Please help us make his dream come true! Every cent adds up. :) We are started now on payment requirements and need to have our balance paid by January. Here are Jason's words about the trip:
1. Why do I want to visit and learn about Washington D.C. and NY City?
I want to learn about Washington D.C because it seems very interesting and I know I would learn a lot, and it is always good to learn more about the world. I really enjoy traveling and I have never been to the east coast. It is a whole different culture out there. This trip only comes once every lifetime and I already know I would have a great time learning about all of those famous monuments. Also, I don't know anything about these places. I know they are big cities and the White House is in Washington D.C but that is just about it. Considering all I know about what things are there like the Smithsonian Museum I know that is a historical town.
2. What do you hope you can take away from this trip?
I hope I can take away a lot of new findings and knowledge. From reading about what we will do on this trip I can see there will be a lot to learn. Since we will visit museums I know we will be learning about many different things. I also will take a great experience. This is a trip most people never get. I know and understand that most people could not afford to go on this trip so this is very important to me. Another thing I will take is pictures to remember the greatest trip of my life.
3. Why do you think you were asked to go on this trip?
I think I was asked to go on this trip because my parents could not go on this trip and they want me to go because they couldn't. I also think I was asked to go is because I am a well behaved kid and many others think so. I am a respectful kid and won't be disrespectful to my classmates who are going along with me. I will also respect my teachers who would not like to be around a bad kid. I will follow the rules at the bottom because it would be quite embarrassing to be bad around all my teachers and friends. I am not going to take any of the fun out of the trip for my classmates and teachers. I want to make sure this trip will be enjoyable and safe. I will do this by following all of the rules and not contributing to the problem if there is any. This trip is for those who are well behaved and it would be a great honor to join my classmates in going on this trip with them.
