Baby Elijah
Donation protected
Elijah was born on 11/14/2017. He was a “rainbow baby” as his mommy and daddy Sarah and Timothy Pickett had recently, and unfortunately, experienced a still born delivery. Elijah was also a miracle baby because Sarah and Tim faught all the odds to have him after a number of tragic pregnancies.
Elijah worked on his own schedule and decided he was ready to meet everyone 6 weeks early. Although the doctors anticipated two weeks for Elijah to be healthy and ready to leave the NIC U, Elijah defied the odds and went home after only 6 days.
Elijah brought so much joy to Sarah, Tim, and their families. Their families, consisted of blood relatives, friends, and co workers . In addition to their family and friends, Sarah’s Homegoods family has been there every step of the way. Sarah asked God for a healthy baby boy that looked like his dad and had his mommy’s eyes, and this is exactly what she got!
Devastatingly, Elijah went home to be with our Heavenly Father after suddenly and unexpectedly being taken by SIDS.
Tim and Sarah have experienced many unexpected expenses and due to complications they have exhausted leave and disability payments.
I am a co worker of Sarah and I created this account to help with funeral costs, travel, and to help Tim and Sarah have more time to grieve this unimaginable loss. I believe that no parent should be rushed back to work for financial reasons.
Please consider donating whatever amount is in your heart. All help is appreciated and please keep this family lifted in prayer.
