Nemo Needs Your Help

My name is Lydia Porter and my dog Nemo needs your help. Last Saturday night while it was raining, he got out of fence as i was trying to carry groceries in. Before I could get to him he had been run over by a large F150 that did not stop to help him. A neighbor saw it and brought him home. I took Nemo to an emergency vet where he had stay until this past Monday. Then I took him to our regular vet at Lincoln Heights Animal Hospital. Their phone number is [phone redacted] ( if you should have questions or care to call in donations ). Nemo has severe abdominal trauma and will need to have his leg amputated so that he can make a full recovery. A couple of months ago I suffered a severe leg break and am now walking with a cane and cannot move very fast at all. Due to my health problems, I have not had a job and cannot pay for the emergency vet fees or for his current stay and pending operation Lincoln Heights Animal Hospital. Until I raise part of the bill Nemo waits for his operation. I am not good at asking for help for myself but i definitely would ask for help for Nemo. I am now currently in debt for over $1613 at emergency vet and still need $1698.50. That puts at a little over $3300.00 in need. They won't operate until I come $850.00 of bill. I don't want Nemo to languish or suffer. Nemo is a really good dog. He comforted me after my dog Piggy died. He brought her much happiness also. Together we share our happy home and fenced in yard with several other pets in need and/or rescued. I am a huge animal lover and have help/rescued more than 50+ animals since moving here 6 yrs ago. Hopefully some of that love finds its way back now to one of my own, my precious Nemo. I still continue to live and love as generously as I can. I constantly strive to care for my furry family and their needs and happiness. If you know me, you know this to be true. And if you don't know me but love dogs/animals, please help this sweet boy. If we happen to raise more than is needed, if its ok with you guys, can we put the rest towards unforseen complications/needs or even towards some of the other animals I currently care for? If you need verification on anything I have stated here, feel free to call vet or anyone else whose animal I currently care for which will probably be on file at my vets office or msg my friends for verification if need be.
