SHAVING MY BEARD!!! VOLUNTEERING IN NEPAL!!!
Trying to raise money for a flight to Nepal to join a team of 30 volunteers, where we will be building 6 houses over a 1 week period with Habitat For Humanity.
The company I work for (Arup) is sending 3 people to Nepal through an internal application process - in my application I told them I would shave my beard to raise money for my flights - I was accepted so now the beard has to go!
Being accepted means Arup will donate $2000 to HFH and organise my accommodation etc - I am fundraising for Flights and Visa costs only... Anything raised over the flight costs will be donated to Habitat For Humanity. I am taking the time off as unpaid leave and all other expenses are from my pocket.
