Life Saving for Don-Lymphoma Cancer

Here is the story about my buddy, DonDon, a bilingual dog who understands a bit of both Chinese and English. DonDon was adopted from the animal shelter by our family at the age of 9-months old. DonDon is definitely part of our family after we've gone through many ups and downs during the past 7 years. However, this time i cannot escape the pain inside my heart when my dog was diagnosed with Lymphoma. The disease is making DonDon very sick. His active level has been significantly decrease as well as the body weight.

Lymphoma is a type of cancer that is not curable with currently available therapies. From what the dortor told us, if we do not give any treatments to him then he would probably be gone within two months period. However, getting the treatments will improve his body condition and length of life for an average 12-14 months. Specifically, this treatment called Canine L- CHOP , which is a 26-weeks treatment with an estimated cost of $7700 (including L-Asparaginase, the drug that used to help treatment of lymphoma before the start of 26-weeks treatment, and other fees for cell tests, ultrasounds test, blood tests, follow-up appointment etc,)
Cost does come high at this point. As a student like me, I am very worried about not being able to afford all these big vet bills that comes every week ( ~$400/ week until the end of treatment). I am a forth year student at UC Davis who majoring in International Relations. I'm really hoping DonDon will be able to walk the graduation ceremony with me as I am graduating this coming summer in 2018. I would do anything it takes to keep DonDon happy and healthy.
DonDon and I appreciate any donations. I would definitely do an update on DonDon every week until the end of treatment, so all donators could see the magical happenes and where the money actually goes( I will show vet bills and reports). Please pray for us as it will be a long journey. Our appreciation is endless.
