One Last Ride for Partrich

I’m not really the type of person that ever supported the idea of a GoFundMe account bc I️ felt like ppl have been known to abuse it, until now. My step dad was recently blind sided after being diagnosed with ALS. With Jeff no longer being able to work, they are running really low on funds. All of the money they do have is tied into a house they had just moved into and now have to sell bc of his disease. ALS is A nervous system disease that weakens muscles and impacts physical function. It started in his leg, now to the point to where he has no movement in his right leg. It’s moving to his left. Eventually it will be hard for him breathe, hard for him to swallow, and then hard for him to live at all. Ive been home visiting them for the past week and on the way to the airport today, Jeff said he wish he wouldn’t of tied up all of his money on that house so he could at least have one more trip or go somewhere he’s never gone before he dies. Naturally, it broke my heart. I️ wish there was something I️ could do. Healing from a recent surgery, I've been unable to fight so It’s hard for me to come up with money to help them on my own... which lead me to this thought. I’m not the type to beg, I️ wouldn’t ask anyone for a dollar nor would he or my mother. We’ve contacted the dream foundation but bc of his age it would make it quite difficult to make that happen. It is also a lengthy process that isn’t a sure thing. So I wanted to ask my family, friends, and ppl who have supported me my whole career, through the ups and downs, to please help one of the most important people in my life have one last memorable moment. Any of the money received that goes over the amount needed for whatever destination he chooses to go to will be donated to an ALS clinic that he currently attends now. Thank you for everyone who read this, who is taking into consideration, and who ever decides to donate, my family and I️ will be gracious of your kindness forever.‘We rise by lifting others’ - Robert Ingersoll
