Help rebuild our childhood home

My name is Richie and I'm fundraising for my family home that was destroyed in the Marshall Fire. It was the house that my grandpa built with this hands nearly 70 years ago, the house that my father and his siblings grew up in, the house that my siblings and I grew up in. And in the blink of an eye it was gone. Our neighborhood was one of the very first in the path of the fire, and by the time my mom saw the smoke she saw the flames. There wasn't time for her to leave with anything but the clothes on her back, and we snuck in the morning after to find nothing left. As we try to wrap our minds around it, the devastation is still hard to put into words. We're all relieved that my mom made it out safely, but so many irreplaceable things were lost. She had a vinyl record collection of 40 years, plants that had been growing for 30 years, and family heirlooms that will never be seen again. This is going to be a long, painful road to rebuild a home that was one of a kind. We can only take things one day at a time as we pick up the pieces, but any help that we can get along the road to recovery will make a huge difference. All funds from this campaign will go towards rebuilding the house, replacing furniture and appliances, and making sure my mom has necessities until that can become a reality. We're incredibly touched by the love and support that we've received from the community coming together in the wake of this tragedy. We still have no idea how long this painful process will take, but we will build it back because we have to, and we will appreciate any help that people are generous to give along the way. The last picture is our socially distanced Christmas, completely unaware of what was coming days later.
