The Ships In The Clouds

In late 2016 I was working at a caller company. While sitting there, listening to the droning and complaining of ordinary people living their lives, irritated and deeply disturbed by my untimely call, I started to write. Page after page an idea began to take form. I had stopped my university degree in theology. I told myself that it was because I hadn't found a proper internship for the semester and that there were no other classes left for me to take, but that wasn't it. I was just not into it anymore. So sitting there, listening to callers, drinking awful office coffee, The Ships In The Clouds appeared on officepaper before my eyes. A young man struggling with his sexuality onboard a ship lead by a deeply religious, deeply scarred man and his crew of misfits. I am at the critical end of the story and for the final push I need to get a month off in order to just write the last couple of chapters.
