Everest Base Camp For Fertility Network UK

In March 2022 myself and a group of men will be taking on Everest base camp, raising money for a charity close to my heart, Fertility Network UK.
Please donate to my fundraiser to help me reach my target. The money raised will be going to help others like me struggling with infertility.
Each man in the expedition has suffered due to fertility issues, but not always as you'd expect. There is a huge stigma surrounding male infertility, when actually male infertility counts for 50% of all fertility problems. 1 in 6 couples in the UK will be affected by infertility. That's 3.5 million people living with heartache, grief and pain of trying to conceive a baby.
The National Fertility Network UK provides free and impartial advice, and understanding for anyone affected by fertility issues.
We are raising money so the charity can continue the amazing work they do.

My story:
My wife and I started trying for a baby in 2016, when she still didn't fall pregnant nearly two years later we contacted our GP. After some tests, we were told the devastating news that we would be unable to conceive naturally, and the only way if we wanted to have a child would be through IVF.  This was due to male factor infertility. This was an extremely difficult time for myself, and I felt very alone, because this is not something people speak about, especially men. I wish I had known about the male support group when I was going through this, as I definitely think it would have helped my mental health greatly.
We started the IVF process in early 2018, after numerous tests we were able to have ICSI in October 2018. Due to further complications my wife was unable to have an embryo transferred then, so we had to freeze them. In February 2019, my wife had a Frozen Embryo Transfer. We were extremely lucky to have a successful pregnancy, and birth of our son in October 2019.

We are taking on this challenge in 2022, so I will be getting prepared over the next year and will hopefully give me time to raise my target fund. Your support and generosity leading up to the challenge will push us all on, and make a huge difference to Fertility Network UK.
Please share this with friends and family.
