Baby Mateo

On August 24th, Jackie was taken to the hospital in labor. What started as excitement, quickly turned into uncertainty as the doctors explained that they needed to do an emergency c-section on her. Thankfully, Jackie is doing well and recovering in San Luis. Her beautiful boy, Jorge Mateo, however had to be transferred to Mexicali for care because the hospital in San Luis is unable to care for a baby in his condition.
Juan and Jackie’s mom (grandmas) are with the baby in Mexicali and will soon be joined by Jackie. We are humbly asking for your prayers for Jorge and Jackie. His condition is very serious but we know and believe in the power of prayer. We also ask for financial help from anyone that is willing. The hospital in Mexico requires payment before services are rendered and the baby is in need of additional tests and medications to recover.
