Help for my Hero

As many of you know, Nick and I have been faced with many difficult hardships over the last five years. Almost five years ago, Nick was stricken with a very rare stomach anomaly called Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome. It is one of the most rarest stomach anomalies known to medical science. Less than 500 people in the US alone have been diagnosed with it. Over the course of his illness Nick has underwent millions of dollars in treatment, procedures and even surgeries. Last November he underwent a very severe bowel surgery that has now left him very ill and not getting any better. Many specialists and trips to different states have left him in worse health then when he started. I has been strong through all this and have worked very hard keeping the family afloat, but its getting more difficult day by day. The medical bills alone along with many other things are making it more difficult for me. In the most recent months Nick has grown weaker and more ill and may be permanently unable to work. After being told by all his doctors, including the specialsits, that there is not much more they can do for him, I am ready to turn to a different type of medicine. I want to give the holistic route a chance to see if Nick, who once was a very happy person, can have another chance at life. In most cases, this type of treatment is not covered by insurance and the costs of supplies and equipment for the possibility of an organic/juice diet are expensive. Also, the research that I have done for good doctors to go to are again out of state. So even if it is a small amount anything to help would be so greatly appreciated.
