Sarah Rattaseri Stroke Recovery

Donation protected
On Sunday October 1st of this year, our dear friend Sarah suffered a stroke at her home. Luckily, Tom was with her and got her the help she needed to survive. This however did not minimize the impact of the stroke damage in her brain. Sarah has been hospitalized since October 1st. She was at Rush University Medical Center until October 14th, once she was strong enough Sarah was transfered to rehab at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab (formerly Rehiblitation Institute of Chicago). On October 19th suffered a setback which sent her back to ICU at Northwestern. Sarah was treated for an aspiration pneumonia and released back into rehab at Shirley Ryan on October 30th. Sarah has been working tirelessly, and she is getting stronger everyday. Her recovery will take time. Many friends and coworkers have agreed that financial support to offset the medical bills from this traumatic event would be necessary.   Any amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated. Many of you know and love Sarah. Her spirit is strong ,and Tom has been by her side through all of this. Recovery is a timely and unknown process.
