Adam E. Cochran, 51, of Milton, FL passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017.He was born on May 2, 1966 in Fallbrook, CA to Irene Welford and Michael Cochran. As a young man he spent a lot of time riding horses and that transitioned into rodeo where he rode bulls and steer wrestled. He was a natural and ended up taking home a number of belt buckles over the years. Adam had a Bachelors in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He spent 4 years in the US Air Force then a full 20 years in the US Coast Guard where he went from enlisted to officer candidate school and ultimately became an Aviator. For most of his career he flew the HU-25 Falcon. His career was an accomplished one, earning him recognition and an Air Medal. After he retired, he never stopped living exactly how he wanted to. He found a lot on the Blackwater river, and building his house became his project when he wasn’t traveling around the country. Adam will live in our hearts forever as a loving dad and loyal friend.He was preceded in death by his father, Michael D. Cochran.Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca Elder; two brothers, Brian and Brent Cochran; a sister, Shayna Cochran and his mother, Irene Welford.Funeral Cortege to depart Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 12:30pm Friday, October 27, 2017 for a 1:00pm Graveside Service at Barrancas National Cemetery with Full Coast Guard Honors.
