Hello,
I never thought I would have what it takes to ask for this kind of help. My name is Jonathan Godinez, I recently turned 30yrs old. I have Medullary Thyroid Cancer which was diagnosed at stage 4. I am terminal as you might say. I have had cancer since I was 25, at the time I was in school to become an Xray tech. My second surgery put a hold on school for an extra year, in which I graduated with my Associates Degree in Medical Radiography. I am currently and happily employed. I have undergone one small surgery followed thereafter with a second radical neck dissection, in which it was discovered my cancer metastasized to my lymph nodes in neck and collar bone. I have undergone External beam radiation in 2009 if i remember correctly. I was fortunate enough to have health coverage during school which almost 100% of my medical bills were covered.

I recently had my 3rd surgery of the neck on 05/27/14 with lymphnode removal in which 6 of 6 were cancerous, my MRI shows masses in my liver, right lung, left side of neck and chest cavity. I am waiting tp see if there are any organizations that are able to help me pay for my specialized medication I need. They are $9,900 a month in which my insurance denied me the meds. So at this time anything helps.
Please don't get me wrong I have a rental home, a car, and live a normal life. I dont want to portray myself having no money, which is one reason I considered this for so long. It takes alot to ask for help. Like I said before I am currently employed and just in need of assistance for now until the drug companies tell me if I can get the meds I need after being declined by insurance.
