Brain Tumor: 6 y/o Boy

Moses spent his 6th birthday, 11/10/2017, at Children’s Hospital in OKC. He underwent a CT scan of his brain and neck and a full body MRI. The result is he will be having surgery to remove a lemon-sized growth that is blocking fluid from draining off of his brain properly. He has been complaining of headaches for about 2 months now, and he has also been vomiting in the mornings. He goes about the rest of his day as an active boy for the most part, which is typical for his diagnosis. Moses will be undergoing surgery on Tuesday, 11/14/2017 to remove the growth. Not much is known about the growth at this time. Prayers are greatly appreciated. Donations are also appreciated as medical expenses and household expenses will add up quickly. Steven is Moses’s daddy. He is a single father with three older kiddos (ages 16, 13, and 12). During this time, Steven is unable to work as he stays with Moses in the hospital. If Steven does not work, he does not get paid. Once Moses returns home, he will require continuous care for at least 2 weeks. At minimum, Steven will be out of work for 3-4 weeks. It is expected additional medical care and missed work will also be in their future. Please join me in lifting them up, providing encouragement, and, if you are able, to bless them financially to help ease the stress and burden of expenses over the next few months as Moses receives the care he requires. About Moses: He loves dinosaurs, sharks, hot wheels, and legos. He is an excellent helper, oftentimes without even asking. He is currently honing his fooseball skills. He also enjoys playing with soldiers and reading books with facts about military vehicles. He is a good snuggle buddy, and he also enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, and going on hikes with his Cub Scout troop. He wants to learn how to hunt one day. He also enjoys his weekly Sunday School class. Moses is excited about getting back to his Kindergarten classmates and friends.Thank you for reading.
