The Peterson Family House Fire

At 12:30 am this morning, I was sleeping over at my best friends house and her mom (Mrs. Suzi) woke us all up frantically because their house was on fire. We all got out of the house safely but within minutes, the house filled with smoke and fire. While waiting for the firefighters to come, the fire continued to get worse and eventually spread to nearly every room. We are thankful to God that Mrs. Suzi smelled the fire and we were all safe and uninjured, but the road ahead of them is long and unclear. These people are a second family to me and to see them have to go through is horrible. I can't even begin to tell you how compassionate, humble, serving, and loving this family is and how special they are to me. They have helped our community in so many ways - so I'm going ask you all to help do the same in return. They have lost all their clothes, shoes, food, and everyday necessities.
