Help Stoney Get Back On His Feet!

We all know Stoney as the blogger and voice behind The Daddy Diaries, but he is also a husband and loving father of three sweet girls...Abby (17), Emma (13) and Gracee (4). His wife, April is my very dear friend and also an extremely talented photographer. Stoney was born and raised in Locust Grove, OK by his parents Randy and Donna Stamper. His parents, grandparents, brother, sister and their families still reside in OK. He spent his college years at NEO & OSU and has worked in sales ever since, requiring a lot of “windshield time”. They moved to Texas in 2012 and have made many dear friends here since. Yesterday he was driving April’s truck to urgent care to get a flu test when he was in a serious car accident. Stoney was traveling about 50mph on 110 with a green light ahead and no idea that an Enterprise box truck was pulling out slowly in front of him. As soon as he saw the truck, he hit the brakes. Unfortunately, due to the rainy weather and slick road conditions, he slid directly into the back of the steel truck. After dropping Gracee off at school and getting groceries, April happened upon the shocking scene. Stoney was pinned in the truck and had to be cut out of the truck with the jaws of life while April watched. After arriving by ambulance at ETMC, he was diagnosed with a broken left hip, gash in his left knee joint and a broken right wrist, requiring 3 surgeries. The doctors have stated he could have about a year of full recovery time and it could be several months before he has full function of his left foot due to nerve damage. Physical therapy will begin almost immediately after the surgeries are completed. The goal of this GoFundMe is to help provide for the family during this transition while Stoney is able to heal and have April there to help support him daily until he is back on his feet, literally.
