Trooper Allen's dedication to duty, and his bravery and selfless sacrifice on this Thanksgiving Day, will never be forgotten."Trooper Allen was 41 years old and joined the department in 2002.The suspected gunman, Dabrett Montreal Black, of Lindale, was apprehended Thursday evening in Waller County, two hours south of the location where the shooting took place along Interstate 45 south of Fairfield in Freestone County.Any and all funds collected will go to Trooper Allen’s family.
