United With Debbie Milton Dufeck
Debbie (Gabby) Milton Dufeck... I'm sure you've seen her smiling face, heard her infectious laugh, and/or faced her ultimate skills on the softball field/volleyball court. Debbie is an awesome sister, a loving wife, aunt, and mother, a friend to everyone, an all around beautiful soul who went to the ER on October 23, 2017 for stomach pain and was diagnosed with colon cancer. She underwent major surgery on the 24th and had a lengthy hospital stay of 12 days after. They removed a part of a mass which caused a perforation and part of the small intestine and fixed the hole. They sent it out for testing to which it came back to be a stage 4 mass. Unfortunately she still has the mass which is about the size of a baseball. She will need daily chemotherapy and radiation for the next 6 weeks before they will even try to remove the mass. She's got a long road ahead of her with doctor appts, surgeries, and treatment plans. But she is fighting this illness like the strong woman we all know her to be. Any prayers and support are welcome and greatly appreciated. United we stand, together we are strong.
