Dynamic Dylan Fighting Cancer

Dylan had neuroblastoma Stage 4 cancer since April 2016. He's been back and forth between a doctor in Cohen’s and a doctor in Sloan. One doctor doesn’t advise any further treatments but Dylan (after his COG treatment) has a 50% OF RELAPSE. The doctor at Sloan is recommending more treatments as following Dylan’s records it is not 100% clear whether he is in remission. Dylan will be going to Sloan testing. He will have his MIBG Scan, CAT Scan and 4 point biopsy. We will have a consult with the Sloan staff and discuss his treatments. I will give an update once everything is figured out.Since August Dylan’s been having so many appointments:Pediatrician - for yearly check up and getting his infant vaccines which was wiped out when he got his stem cells. Oncology - check upAudiologist - testing and getting hearing aidsOphthalmologist - which we found out he needs transition glassesNeurologist - need new back braceDentist - has two smal cavitiesI have to make one of the hardest decisions. On top of all of this funds are beyond tight. I was on FLMA for 3 months and no job since 2017. Dylan’s dad is on workers comp which hasn’t paid him anything and will be let go on the 10th since they said his FMLA is used up. This money would help to ease the stress and help with the holidays!! This will also help his medical needs as it is very expensive to maintain his hearing aids, getting glasses, medication, back brace and everything else that has to be out of pocket.
