The Pestanas have always been considered family to me as well as to many others through out Wallingford and the trail of terror right now they need are help more then ever!!! Right now there is no financial income until Manny can get the legal paper work he needs to start a new job any amount of money will make a difference here is Manny’s situation ❤️
“A couple weeks before my license expires (August 28th) went to go renew it, and noticed that I had lost my Certificate of Naturalization. Went to Hartford Immigration office to get another one.. found out then I had to go through a process to get another, which the clerk there said would take 3-5total for the whole process with a $550 processing fee, sent to Homeland Security in Texas. The clerk said after I get a paper back from HLS, to go back to Hartford for a "temporary passport" to be able to get my license and other paperwork I needed.. So after I got the paper, I went to Hartford again, just for them to tell me they have never heard of a temp passport or anything like that. The new clerk check the computer and said that HLS is working on my case, but no date as to when it would be finalized.. so waited about a month and never received anything.. so I called HLS to see if I can get my process expedited, die to the fact I don't have a license, no job, money coming in... because I cannot get a license with out the certificate of Naturalization to prove I am a citizen, which I have been since October of 1990... so waited again 2 more weeks just to call again and find out they sent an email saying the my situation was not an emergent situation for them to expedite my process and it would take another 3-6 months for regular processing .. so I let them know I couldn't wait for that, because I would literally lose everything I have, my cars, where I live, everything, because I can't work, can't get a license ,nothing.. so they said they would reapply to get it expedited again..and that I would hear within 5 day.. it's been 8 days and still nothing..I am at my wits ends and not sure what to do..
After being at Estes Express Lines for 14 years, the company would not work with me and just let me work the dock or even in the yard moving trailers.. being a dedicated worker, the company would not do anything to help me.
Because I have no job, I have no insurance, and have not been able to get my diabetic meds, that I am in dire need of as well.
this is my situation.. I keep calling but am not getting an answer as to when I will get a replacement, so I can get my life back in order..
