Lauren Strong

Hello everyone,

 
I wanted to start this page to help out my brother and sister in law in this difficult time.

As some of you are aware Lauren was diagnosed on Friday October 25th with stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to nearby organs. This all came fast and out of nowhere, being concealed by pregnancy symptoms and pains.

The doctors planned on having Lauren deliver the baby by c-section on Tuesday so that they would be able to start chemotherapy as well as radiation. But to our surprise, on October 27th God blessed us with the birth of baby Eden Rose Barnes born early but perfect weighing 3lbs 9 oz.

Lauren has a long journey ahead of her to get better and my hope is to help Russ and Lauren through this difficult time by raising some money. Russ will need to be off work caring for baby Eden as well as Lauren, and Everly and Maielle. Hospital parking and being on Unemployment Insurance is just one extra stress that they do not need at this time.

I hope to create a blog to keep you all informed of what is going on as we know more.

But for now please help my brother and dear sister in law in any way you can.
