Vanessa's Journey with AML Leukemia

Donation protected
This is my story in July 26,2013 My 13 year old daughter Vanessa was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia [which is caner of your bone marrow]. Since then she did her first chemotherapy and the second biopsy showed Vanessa still had 5% cancer cells are still in her bone marrow. That means we have to find a transplant donor. Since her second chemotherapy it has been very bad . Vanessa has been in the PICU for 2weeks now. The breathing tube was taking out Friday October 4,2013. Now she has to learn how to eat again slowly and needs therapy to walk again. I'm asking for help because I haven't been able to work since being in the hospital all the time. I still have all rent, insurance, my 9 year old daughter, travel expenses, and whatever else she will be needing. Also I always worrying when I leave to do homework with my other daughter that my car is going to break down, its old and the traveling is doing a toll on the car. This is a very bad time watching Vanessa go through this especially since she has anxiety now it makes my feel so hurt to leave her at the hospital to go see her little sister. Vanessa went from being A straight A student and travel soccer player to having leukemia. We still have a great journey ahead off us and don't know when I'm going to be able to work again. Thank you in advance from my family and I. All I can do is pray for better days for my daughter and my family.
