Financial fund for Tom and his Bears

Hello. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Shannon Moberg. Niki Velet Baker is my best friend. I wanted to find a way to help Niki and her girls after the horrible loss of Hula and Lola’s dad. They need some help financially. There is a funeral/memorial to be planned and paid for. There are things the LA’S lost in the accident that need replacing. Then there is the ever daunting task of caring for them financially, which now rests solely on Niki.
I didn’t know Tom. I may have spoken to him a few times over the years but ultimately I knew him thru Niki and the posts and pictures of him being, what I believe was a kick ass Dad to Hula and Lola; and a father figure to Chels over the years. I saw how he embraced the Grands, and to me, I believe they were his too. Blood doesn’t always make family. I know this as Niki is as close to a sister as I have ever had.
Tom will be missed greatly. I know this from all of the kind words from everyone who has known him. I am asking you all for help. Help Tom's children so that the financial strain does not affect them too much. They are already dealing with far too much pain and heartache. If there is anyway you all could help me raise some money for funeral/memorial costs and the cost of raising two amazing little girls. Hula has T1d and that cost alone is staggering.
I love this family more than I could ever say and I can see so many of you do to. So many of you loved Tom and saw what an amazing dad he was. If you can help now, since he no longer can, to help Niki to raise these girls the way Tom would want. I may not have met him but but I am sure he envisioned a life for his girls, so now they need your help. Tom you were and always will be an AMAZING father and person and you will be greatly missed.
