Fundraising for Mike Corbo Memorial

Hello Friends and Family,
My father in-law, Mike Corbo, was hospitalized in January of this year and to date (March 20th) has not been home. His journey began on January 15th when he was admitted to Backus Hospital for pneumonia. He spent the first couple weeks in CCU, followed by a week in PCU and then to rehab. Unfortunately rehab only lasted 9 days before he was rushed back to Backus Hospital where he spent another week before going back to rehab for 13 days and then back to Backus Hospital where he has been for last week and a half. Mike is also suffering from heart and kidney failure with not a good prognosis and will most likely be in the hospital/hospice care for remainder of his life.
Mike was recently laid off from his job at Foxwood Resort and Casino where he worked as a Manager in Engineering for over 20 years. Mike loved his job and was devastated when he was let go and has had a difficult time finding another job due to his health. In addition he lost his life insurance. This has weighed heavy on Mike trying to provide for his family and maintain his home in Colchester, CT which he love's so dearly and worked so hard to purchase. He has always thought of his daughters' (Cassie and Stacy) first and now his loving grand kids (Nick and Jaz). There's nothing he wouldn't do for them.
I am starting this go fund me page to assist Mike's wife (Darlene) with mounting medical bills and funeral costs. Darlene has made the trip for the last 9 1/2 weeks faithfully to be with her husband of 51 years during his final days.
Your help and support will go towards his medical bills and funeral costs.
