Praying For Jay Bird

This page is to help raise money for one of our communities outstanding citizens. Jay also known as "Jay Bird" is a devoted and loving father and grandfather to his family the Honea's.

For several years Jay was out in the baseball and football fields leading, coaching and being a true friend to all those who surrounded him. Jay has inspired many who have crossed paths with him and continues to be a role model and true example of what a good human being should be.

Jay has always gone the extra mile to help others and now it is time for us to show our appreciation as he faces a crucial phase in his life. Jay was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer in 2007 and has been battling it ever since. He is now at Moffitt Cancer center receiving chemo therapy and awaiting his Bone Marrow transplant surgery tonight October 4th, 2013.

Because of the time Jay and his wife Kim will be at Moffitt they are both unable to work and meet daily living expenses. Not to mention never ending medical bills.
