Savannahs Medical And Recovery Fund

Savannah Fulton is a 9 year who loves to live life to the fullest. Tuesday night she was transported from a local hospital to children's hospital in Oakland due to some test that had come back and the loss of feeling in her legs and right arm. On Saturday morning around 4am, only hours after an MRI, she was rushed into surgery due to the MRI results that showed a blood clot in her spine. The surgeon had to cut out 3 Vertebrae to access the clot, remove it, and stitch her back together. Savannah is still in ICU and will continue to be there for a few more days until the other MRIs clear her of any other clots or internal bleeding. We are currently waiting on the results of today's MRI, and will have another one on Tuesday. The doctors are not sure if there are more blood clots in her body or how this occurred/ where it may have occur and they are monitoring her closely. Savannah has regained feeling in her arm, but does have tingling in it. The doctor did do a test on her legs after surgery and said there is activity in her legs now, and before surgery there was no response. When asking Savannah about her legs she says that they still feel numb but she can move them. Savannah is not in the clear yet, as the doctors are still worried about her. At this time we will not know how long she will be at the hospital and when she gets released she will have months of physical therapy. As of now, we have no idea how much the cost will be, but I will keep everybody informed about Savannah as we go.
