With a very heavy heart we write this:
As most of you know we have lost an important part of our community. Denise Bohn-Stewart was tragically taken from us this week. The Stewart family have been here in St. Joseph for a long time and a part of the South Coast Blues family from the beginning. No one can seem to wrap their head around this unspeakable tragedy, so we will push on as a community and be there 100% for these children.
The support and wellbeing of the Stewart children, Regan, Reece and Kaden will be a top priority for the Blues program moving forward. Regan, Reece and Kaden have been a fixture in our baseball and softball community for years. Reece is a key member of the 9U Blues travel baseball team. Kaden plays an important role on the 8U Blues travel baseball team. Regan is also a strong player on the SJX travel softball team.
As a South Coast Blues family, we want to help support these children any way we can. Please consider donating to this campaign below. Thank you for all of your support and may God bless the Stewart children.
At the request of Go Fund me I would like to add a little more information.
1. My name is Ashley Nelson, my husband Dane Nelson is the president of the South Coast Blues Baseball Club that both Stewart boys currently play for.
2. We are from St. Joseph, Michigan.
3. The funds being donated are strictly for the use of the Stewart children. The Bohn family has already set up trust funds for all three children. These funds will be deposited into those accounts.
4. Funds are set up to be withdrawn strictly by Kevin Bohn (Denise's brother) ONLY.
