Water Your Roots

Tyrell's Angels has been an active presence at Pu’uhonua O Waianae for the past 6 years. They’ve assisted the houseless community with various projects, fundraisers, monthly activities and continued education. Hundreds of people (women and children) reside within Pu’uhonua O Waianae and consider the Waianae Boat Harbor their home. Unfortunately, due to renovations and repairs, the boat harbor has recently turned off the water lines until December 29, 2017. The boat harbor line is the only source of water for these families and it is used for drinking, cleaning, growing crops and doing laundry. Tyrell’s Angels would like to build a water catchment system within Pu’uhonua O Waianae so that these families do not go without water this holiday season. We need your help! We are looking for donations (tax deductible) or supplies to help us turn this idea into a reality. The catchment system will assist the families with creating a more sustainable life style.
