Ceramic Hip Replacement

2017.... One we will always remember.. It hasn’t been easy to say the least.. Doug has been in pain since July and boy has he been a trooper. We have found out through the San Antonio Orthopedic Group that he has Avascular Necrosis.. A disease that has cut off blood flow to his bone and it has collapsed on his right side and beginning to on his left of the femoral head. So come November 6th he will undergo his first hip surgery. He will receive a ceramic hip joint that has a fancy lining to ensure longevity. We still will eventually need his left side replaced and many years down the road he will need maintenance fixes. With only 1 income coming in Autumn and Doug will need help financially.. We are keeping positive and he looks forward to throwing discs and getting back in the kitchen as soon as he can..
