Swallowing my pride and asking for help.
I was bartending out in N Dakota for the summer. Came back to Vegas to pack up my life and start a new chapter, excited to be in love and moving onto greener pastures, literally.
On July 27th @ Backstage Bar and Billiards, I was approached by 2 girls who were sitting in VIP. They asked me if I wanted to go dance near the stage.I said sure, I'll go dance for a minute before we head out.
I was then pushed across the dance floor, and out of instinct, landed on my hands. Shocked and hurt, I got up towards the girl, like... wth? I was thrown down 2 more times. I had never seen these girls in my life and had no idea how this was even happening. It all happened in less than 2 min.
I think i was in shock. I just remember calling for someone to call Police. I was told that 3 club security appeared after everything and got the assailant out the back exit before police arrived.
Went straight in ambulance to UMC trauma. Where i was given splints.
This past Tuesday 8/7 I had metal plate and screws put in right wrist. Yesterday, they performed the same procedure on my left wrist.
The plan was to be out of vegas before my birthday August 1st. i have until 8/15 to get my landlord $850, as they will not use my deposit towards rent.
ive been selling everything i own for pennies. I've been hitting up any and every social service i can apply to... to keep a roof over my head, and help me cover these medical expenses.
I may need multiple surgeries, (will see the surgeon again monday)and estimated healing time is about 3 months--with lots of physical therapy. Bartending has always been my self support method and now i cannot open a door, or unscrew a bottle, or even take care of myself without someone physically helping me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. am still hoping the police can bring some justice. I have never needed help as i do at this moment. I have nowhere else to go rt now, except to social media.. to humble myself and hope that some friends out there could donate, even a dollar or two to please help me.
i will survive this too, and i will do my best to help others again, i just have nowhere else to go, except to the people i've connected with in this world, over the many years that i have been running around it.
I am grateful for any small donation... somehow i have to survive, until i can get my hands healed. I only have medical coverage here_ and im terrified to end up on the streets because of this. NO MATTER what i have to endure, this WILL NOT crush my spirit i will continue to smile, and laugh, and joke around.... i will continue to be true and have faith.
