Please Help Jeff!!!

Jeff Henwood, as many know, is a loving husband, father of three, and new grandfather of one. He works overseas in Germany as a civilian worker through the army as a nurse case manager in a TBI rehab facility. He and his wife Mary were finally getting their dream to travel the world when suddenly Jeff’s health took a turn for the worse. He was admitted to the hospital for surgery to remove a gallstone. Throughout the surgery things continued to take a turn for the worse and he had a perforation in his bowel and multiple tears in his stomach that lead to sepsis and caused many of his organs to fail. He has been on a mechanical ventilator, dialysis due to kidney failure and has been sedated throughout many surgeries and will continue to be on them through many more to come. With all this said, he responds by signing I love you to his wife, squeezing her hand, and was able to smile at his grandbaby in person for the first time. He was sent toWalter Reed Hospital in Washington DC in order to receive the best care possible due to the severity of his condition. His family has put their hopes and prayers into God; however, his wife Mary (who is legally blind) is unable to drive, work in Germany, and is very concerned about how they will make ends meet in the coming months of recovery. They also run the chance of losing the job that brought them to Germany, insurance, and their ability to pay for any medical bills. God willing, Jeff will pull through but it will not be a speedy recovery and because he is the only income, there is increasing concern as to what is going to happen to him and his family. We are asking for as many prayers that could come our way and appreciate the love and support we have already received. We want to make sure that During this time Jeff and Mary are able to both pull through and that includes financially.
