Help Roman As He Recovers From Chemo

Donation protected
So as some of you may or may not know our family has been going through a lot this past year. On February 26th, 2017 Roman went to the doctor because of a lump on his right testicle and they scheduled an immediate removal for March 1st. On March 18th we received the most devastating news ever and that being that the lump was in fact stage 1 testicular cancer. As a 22 year old healthy man with zero health issues in the past this news was forever life changing and really hard on him. The very next Monday he went in for a CAT scan to find out if the cancer had spread and unfortunately we found out that it had in fact spread to a lymph node and Roman was diagnosed with stage 2 Embryonal Cell Carcinoma. Over the next 12 weeks Roman underwent 4 rounds of the strongest chemo treatments that there are to date and boy oh boy was it tough on our family. Roman was a true fighter working everyday that he could during the weeks that he didn’t receive chemo but towards the end he was unfortunately not able to work at all. That was something that was really hard for him to grasp. In the midst of all the madness I was now not only a stay at home mom but also a full time care taker to Roman during his weeks of treatment therefore this took away from myself being able to find a job to support our family. Thankfully in July of 2017 Roman got the news that he was CANCER FREE! For us we thought this was the end of it all but little did we know we were so wrong. We were so excited and eager for him to go back to work that we didn’t realize the chemo would still have an effect on our lives. Roman tried to go back to work full time but quickly realized that this was not reality. Although he works whenever he can he hasn’t been able to fully go back to work and sadly this resulted in a pay cut. In the meantime in the past few months he has been returning to the doctor at least once every two weeks to make sure that the cancer hasn’t spread or come back and to just make sure that everything is in the clear. During his 6 week follow up appointment they noticed a lesion in his left hip that looks very questionable and could be cancerous. Yesterday October 20th, 2017 he received a PET scan that did in fact state that he may now have bone cancer. Roman is now waiting to see an orthopedic oncologist to verify these results we aren’t 100% sure it’s cancer but we can’t ignore the possibility because of what he recently went through. Our family needs PRAYERS most importantly!! Especially prayers for our sweet Roman who is nothing less of a great man and an AMAZING father! Any donations made would be put towards household expenses and caring for our son Sevastian. We truly appreciate each and every donation and prayer. It means the world to our family. Thank you very much, The Kutsyk Family
