Sherry's Cancer/Kidney Removal Fund

Donation protected
Friends, family, and anybody who may be taking the time to read this, my mother is in need of some help. As most people know, my mom has always been an overly generous woman. She has helped so many people in her time and does not ever ask for much for return. Recently my mother Sherry was diagnosed with renal cancer and has to have her kidney removed. On top of this she also suffers from sciatica pain, adrenal glands are enlarged and severe diverticulitis, severely impacting her ability to work. Her doctor told us that as of now, it looks like all of the cancer is in one of her kidneys and hasn't metastasized yet, but they won't know till they open her up. They will be removing one of her kidneys in hopes they can get the cancer out, as well as to inspect some lumps on her liver, though they believe those to be benign. The surgery is on November 29th and if it goes well, my mom should make a full recovery without having to endure the trauma of chemotherapy. Before the surgery can even happen she will have to undergo a number of expensive tests that aren't covered by her insurance. My mom already works three separate jobs to keep a roof over her head and keep food on the table and will be unable to afford the surgery. She has been a host at HsLordships for almost 20 years, a server and host at Applebee's for 6 years, and a caregiver for her an on customer of hers in addition to taking care of her mother. In an effort to make this lifesaving surgery happen, I have picked up a second job in addition to my job as a veterinary technician. The surgery copay is $2500 + 20% of the surgery cost, to which they have yet to even inform us of the full cost. Her doctor appointments/medications/ and lab work will run a little over $2,000 depending on the individual tests and medications. In addition to all of these medical bills, she will be out of work and unable to pay for the cost of her apartment and food. Even though we have not been informed of the full cost of the surgery, I did some research into average costs and just set a starting goal at $10,000, though any money we raise will be a tremendous help. I love my mother very much and know there are a number of people out there whose lives she has touched individually. So I ask you to please help me, my family, and most importantly my mother in this time of need. We appreciate any donation no matter how small or even just a share ❤️
