Guardin's wife passes during labor

Queridos amigos y Familiares, Nuestro amigo Guardín Sosa necesita de nuestra ayuda. La pasada semana Guardín perdió a su esposa, María Cristina, mientras ella daba a luz, luego de haber sido diagnosticada con cáncer durante su embarazo. Marie tenía solo 38 años. Un angelito, Joaquín, sobrevivió el parto y se encuentra en la unidad de cuidado intensivo neonatal en condición estable. Guardín y Marie también tienen 2 niñas, Amaris y Paola. Ahora es el momento de unirnos en su perdida como amigos y familiares y demostrarle nuestro apoyo a esta familia. Todas las donaciones van directamente a Guardín para ayudar con gastos médicos de Joaquín. Muchos de ustedes conocen a Guardín como compañero del Colegio San Ignacio y de la Universidad de Villanova. This past week, Guardín lost his wife, Maria Cristina, during childbirth, after having been diagnosed with cancer during her pregnancy; Marie was just 38 years old. A little angel, Joaquín, survived, and is currently in the NICU, in stable condition. Guardín and Marie also have two daughters, Amaris and Paola. Now is the time to join in his loss as friends and family and show our support to this family. All donations will go straight to Guardín to help with medical expenses for Joaquín. Many of you may know Guardín as one of our classmates from Colegio San Ignacio or as a fellow Villanova Wildcat. Let’s show Guardín that we are all here for him in this very difficult moment.
