The Dagara of Burkina Faso, West Africa believes that children come to this earth with an understanding of their purpose to the community and to the world. As life progresses it is up to the community to continuously remind the child of her purpose so she doesn't stray from her destiny. When children are given the space and time to identify with their own creative genius it is a gift the entire community shares. For over twenty years Renaissance Montessori School has served as the communal voice in southwest Atlanta guiding young learners ages 2 ½ to 12 to become responsible human beings and active members of a global society. For this reason we request your committed partnership and assistance in remaining a beacon of light in the southwest Atlanta and Montessori community.
Just as families are struggling, Renaissance has also been hit hard by the economic down turn. As a result we find ourselves needing to aggressively seek out grants for our school and implement our first ever Capital Campaign. So here's our request: we need your HELP! Your generous contribution to our fund will play a role in keeping our community intact and economically diverse to ensure our school continues to be available to families for another 20 years.
Renaissance Montessori School provides Montessori education committed to nurturing the character, creativity and intellect of every child. Renaissance MontessoriSchool, Inc.(RMS) was co-founded in April of 1992 by Rita Merk, an internationally known and respected Montessori teacher and expert. The purpose in establishing the school was threefold: 1) To offer an affordable, quality, accredited educational alternative; 2) To address the shortage of Montessori services in the southwest Atlanta metro area; 3) To found a non-profit organization in which the members are active participants in the management.
Renaissance is a 501(c) (3) Non-profit Institution and will happily supply tax deduction letters in return for your donation. Please note your contribution will help to nurture the environment at Renaissance Montessori School, one that enriches our children and provides a foundation for our future. We hope that we can count on you to stand with us to move our current mountain.
