Save Rosie Fund

   I got Rosie from the shelter in Lewiston Maine a year ago, after I broke my foot. She is young (3 years old). She came from the shelter in Mississippi after being displaced in a flood.
   This dog is the one thing I care about most in life; she is my everything and means the world to me. I brought her to the vet today and found out that she has heartworm. Without treatment she will die. Even the treatment is risky, but I can't lose her. The cost is very expensive running around $1,750.00. Please help me to get her to good health.
    I can't lose her. If anything ever happened to her then I would not be able to cope. The bond I feel with her is unlike any bond I can explain. We saved each other and were there for each other through the rough battles of life, so please dig deep into your heart and find some kindness to help, we all know how much pets mean to us, it's like a child. Any little bit helps.

   Update: Rosie has has a tough time this week, she was admitted to the emergency vet with pancreatitis and almost died. She was given several meds and tests. For a period of time she was also admitted. Today alone was $1200. I have all the bills if anyone would like to see them. The donation total will be raised to $2750.
