My Journey With Breast Cancer

My name is Migdalia M. Aviles and some know me as Milly. I was diagnosed with Aggressive & Invasive Stage 2 Breast Cancer on May 12th 2017. The Dr's told us that I would have to go through 5-6 months of chemotherapy before they would do surgery. I continued to work full time 9-10 hrs a day until I had to go part time due to my chemo schedule going from once every 2 weeks to going every Friday, giving my body less time to heal & recuperate. On October 2nd I was admitted to the hospital for pain, dizziness & nausea. Several test were performed from CT scans to an MRI of my brain to rule out that the cancer had spread. In one of many exams, it showed that my gall bladder was not functioning correctly so on Monday October 9th I had surgery to remove my gall bladder, surgery was a success and the results of that biopsy was negative for cancer. Here I am still in the hospital 2 and a weeks later, and I'm still unable to keep any clear liquids down. With everything that has going on; I have not been able to return to work and it is starting to become difficult for my family & I to catch up to our bills, rent and food. If you can find it in your heart to help me & my family through this difficult moment it would greatly be appreciated. For those who know me personally, know that it is not easy for me ask for help and to put my story out there is a little difficult but my family and I need help.
