Kamdyn's Courageous Battle

Donation protected

Our son Kamdyn is 8 months old, and he is admitted at Children's National in Washington DC on 10-14-2017 due to stomach problems and very low blood count 7 out of 14, he got a transfusion at PRMC before coming here. We came here and with sonogram and x-rays they noticed a large mass of some sort and thought it to either be a blood clot, or a tumer, but needed further tests done to determine. As the hours passed his whole body had swelled up so bad because of this tumer and it's location in the bladder, it was effecting his kidneys and cutting off circulation in the veins to his legs and scrotum. After we get the CT scan done it was conformed that it was indeed a tumer and it had ruptured causing internal bleeding, he had to have another blood transfusion as his blood count was 7 again. We had a biopsy taken of this tumer and he has a port for chemotherapy put in. We will recieve the biopsy within a few days and go from there with that. They were able to relieve some of the pressure as they got the 1 1/2 liters of blood out of his abdomen due to the rupture of the tumer. We currently do not have a vehicle, which if we have to do chemotherapy it's going to be very hard to do considering we live in Salisbury, Md and with his father and I both being here, there is no money coming in, we have no money for anything, bills, daily necessities. If you cannot contribute to anything that is absolutely fine what so ever. Everyone's prayers for my son were amazing enough and meant the world to him, his father and myself. I just ask you this, can you please share this on your personal page and continue to pray for him. Thank you all very much and God bless...

Update 10-18-17

Okay so here we go. Kamdyn's biopsy obviously came back and what he is diagnosed with is stage 3-4 Rhabdomyosarcoma, which is a muscular cancer...we are looking at 43 weeks of treatment with chemotherapy and radiation...more than likely we are going to have to relocate up this way because he needs weekly treatments some days once a week some 3 times some 5...with the commute back home is a 3 hour drive one way. We are obviously at a loss right now as our world is turned upside dealing with the news...again I am going to need you to pray like you have never prayed before this is obviously heartbreaking for our family...I need everyone to share share share this and get the word out so we can possibly relocate sooner than later...we are having a sit down tomorrow with the doctors tomorrow at 3, along with a social worker to discuss treatment and what the next step is. A common thing associated with the perticular cancer is it spreading to the lungs, so the next step is to get more CT scans and mri's done to see if it has spread anywhere else and do many more tests on many different parts of his tiny body. As more information is given to us we will let everyone know more. God bless everyone and just share my gofundme to further help out with expences.......

Bless You!!! #KamdynStrong
