Gone Too Soon

My name is Sherry Necessary-Corrigan. Yesterday my sister Teri Turner lost her husband Steve suddenly at age 54. We believe he had a massive heart attack despite being in ICU 2 weeks previously for what looked like a cardiac event. He had 3 stents placed 2 years ago and one had collapsed along with a 4th blockage. A 4th stent was placed and the collapsed area was opened and we prayed he was recovering well. Steve had been unable to work due to several health related issues for the past 2 years and had recently started the disability process. My sister is a school secretary and they have been barely scraping by on what she brings home. Saying things were difficult for them is an understatement. Several years ago Steve had an accident at work where a large steel shelf came down and crushed his leg. He managed to avoid an amputation but had a severe and lasting disability. During this time they lost their home but had great faith that better days were coming. Yesterday he went home to be with the Lord. They have no reserve for funeral expenses. Though it is difficult for her to ask for help, I know she will be forever grateful for any form of assistance you might be able to offer. If you feel led, please pray for my sister and her family.
